Planned Parenthood is spreading the word about an exciting opportunity for people who are insured through the Oregon Health Plan (OHP)!
Between October 16th and November 17th, you get to choose a plan that works best for you and your family. We know OHP members will weigh a variety of factors in making your selections, and we hope that access to Planned Parenthood health centers is one of them. If you want to come to Planned Parenthood or have us as an option for care, choose a plan that includes us as a provider.
Here’s how it works: OHP has local health plans that help you use your benefits. OHP starts by matching you with a plan based on the doctors you see and the care you get. Now, you get to tell OHP if you would like to select an alternate plan.
In making your decision, keep in mind that health plans have a “network” or list of providers where you can use your insurance. Not every health plan will include every provider, so check to see if your preferred healthcare providers are included in the plan you were assigned.

Planned Parenthood Advocates of Oregon stands in mourning and solidarity with our AAPI community after the white supremacist hate crime committed last night in Atlanta. This brutal event reveals how misogyny, harmful sexual stereotypes and white supremacy continue to drive hate and violence against women and communities of color, with devastating impacts. Our hearts are with the loved ones of the 8 people murdered, 6 of whom were Asian American women, and with our AAPI staff, supporters and movement leaders ...

Oregon is the leading state for reproductive health and rights. We have fought hard to get the best reproductive health laws on the books, and now we need your help enforcing them! Personal stories are a powerful tool that can be used to win the hearts and minds of decision-makers, and are critical when advocating to maintain or even expand access to the vital health services that Planned Parenthood provides.
