Empowering Films & Discussion About Reproductive Justice!

The Linn-Benton Leadership & Advocacy Team invites you to an afternoon of cinema, dialogue and networking with local activists on Sunday, May 31st in Corvallis!

Darkside Cinema is hosting Empowering Films & Discussion About Reproductive Justice to benefit Planned Parenthood Advocates of Oregon, which helps keep Oregon the leading state for reproductive freedom.

The film program includes:

PPAO's Leadership & Advocacy Teams were recently honored by Planned Parenthood Federation of America with the 2015 Volunteer Excellence Award! The teams, which are active in 10 counties across the state, meet once a month for planning and strategy meetings and participate in activities that protect the basic healthcare services our community needs. Please join us to learn more about how you can make the Linn-Benton region a healthier place!

Planned Parenthood Advocates of Oregon Welcomes New Executive Director

Planned Parenthood Advocates of Oregon (PPAO) announced today that Emily McLain will serve as its new Executive Director. She will make her first appearance at the 2018 Courageous Voice Breakfast on May 30th in Portland, and will officially join the staff on June 13th.

McLain previously served as PPAO’s Government Relations Consultant from 2014 to 2016. During her tenure, PPAO passed landmark legislation to expand access to birth control and to protect patient privacy.

Trump-Pence Administration Expected to Introduce Rule That Gags Providers

Following reports that the Trump-Pence administration intends to introduce a gag rule today that would undermine the nation’s program for affordable birth control and reproductive health care, Planned Parenthood issued the following statement.
