Secure Your Seat for 2015 Courageous Voice Breakfast with Wendy Davis!

Secure Your Seat for 2015 Courageous Voice Breakfast with Wendy Davis!

Join us for a special breakfast event with the Texas State Senator who came to national attention when she launched a historic 13-hour filibuster that blocked the worst attack on women’s health in the nation. Though she was unsuccessful in her bid to become the Lone Star State’s first Democratic governor in 20 years, Wendy shattered records in both fundraising and volunteer recruitment.

In her acclaimed memoir Forgetting to Be Afraid, Wendy also shared her personal experiences with abortion, shining a light on a subject that is too often hidden in the shadows of shame and stigma. An attorney who graduated with honors from Harvard Law School, she also has been a champion for survivors of sexual assault, passing legislation to clear a backlog of more than 20,000 untested rape kits.

Wade if confirmed, allegations of sexual assault, questions about the honesty of his answers to questions under oath and serious concerns about his ability to be impartial and unbiased on the highest court of the land.

Today’s vote followed misleading and deeply ...
